Leonardo College of Design has no authority to offer financial assistance to students; we can only guide you; however there are several government agencies which provide financial help to students that qualify.
The general procedures to apply for financial assistance are:
Step 1 - Make an appointment with an Employment Assessment Centre near you as soon as possible (to speed up the process) and meet an employment counsellor to evaluate your situation.
Step 2 - Demonstrate that you require training in order to acquire the skills needed in the profession you wish to pursue. This may present a challenge since some employment counselors may discourage you from pursuing in a field you are passionate about. You need to be persistent.
Step 3 - Find a school that fulfills your training needs. Bring all your degrees and diplomas with you, and make sure they are officially translated in English (for translation information click here)
Step 4 - Prove you are in need of financial assistance and fill a financial assistance application form given to you by your employment counsellor.
Step 5 - Wait for final approval. In the meanwhile prepare yourself to maximize you training results, for example practice at home with your computer skills.
Good luck!
