FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Leonardo College of Design has no authority to offer financial assistance to students, we can only guide you. However, there are several government agencies which provide financial help to students that qualify.

General procedure to apply for financial assistance:

Step 1 - Make an appointment with an Employment Assessment Centre near you as soon as possible (to speed up the process) and meet an employment counsellor to evaluate your situation.

Step 2 - Demonstrate that you require specific training in order to acquire the skills needed in the profession you wish to pursue. Be prepared, persuasive and persistent, your employment counsellor may guide you toward unrelated careers.

Step 3 - Find a school that fulfills your training needs. Bring all your degrees and diplomas with you, and make sure they are officially translated in English (for translation information click here)

Step 4 - Prove you are in need of financial assistance and fill a financial assistance application form given to you by your employment counsellor.

Step 5 - Wait for final approval. In the meanwhile prepare yourself for your upcoming studies, for example practice at home with your computer skills.
